As a sports injury therapist I treat a wide variety of sports injuries as well as longer term chronic issues, like back pain.
Anatomy in Motion is a new way of looking at pain. Created by renowned Sports Therapist Gary Ward (as featured on BBC1's Doctor in the House). AiM uses a systematic method of assessing and changing movement through walking (gait), harnessing the incredible potential in every humn body. The Flow Motion Model details the movements at all joints throughout the gait cycle.
I provide a holistic assessment of your whole body, both as you move and when you are still. Observing how your body works enables me to identify patterns that are creating problems. A programme of exercises can then be used to help you reconnect with your body and relearn natural movement. From improved posture to treating chronic pain, we will wok together to reach your goals.
Continuing personal development is important to me, so I voluntarily registered with the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
Set up with government support, the CNHC aims to protect the public by providing a voluntary register of complimentary therapies. The CNHC quality mark guarantees an independent seal of approval to well qualified, responsible professionals in the complimentary healthcare field. The quality mark insures that the registrants meet national standards of practise in their work. Registrants must commit to maintaining ongoing personal development and hold current professional indemnity insurance to practise in the UK.
